A few days ago while I was in Halifax, we were contending with topsy turvy weather veering from rainfall to snow blizzards, freezing temperatures to warmth. It was very true that if we didn’t like the weather, all we had to do was to wait for a few hours! This photograph was taken on the street near Saint Mary’s University — as you can see, the downpour was heavy, with result that my lens got splattered with a few raindrops. However, with car headlights shining my way, I realized that the light was being refracted through those raindrops into lovely bokeh-like patterns, so I decided to give it a try. If you look closely into the cluster of bokeh on the left, you’ll see a person walking towards me. On the right, you’ll see just how hard the rain was coming down!
Love this one!
